An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Electrician to join Genesis Minerals at our Laverton Operations. Reporting to the Electrical Team Lead, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our fixed plant gold processing assets, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of critical processing equipment.

This is a permanent full-time position offered on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, with Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) from Perth or Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) from Kalgoorlie.
Responsibilities also include:
- Providing efficient and effective electrical maintenance support to ensure the processing plant operates safely, reliably, and at optimal performance levels.
- Supporting the Maintenance Team in achieving production targets, maximising gold recovery, and maintaining cost-effective operations.
- Ensuring all statutory obligations are met and that work is completed in accordance with applicable legislation, Department of Mines requirements, and Australian Standards.
- Maintaining a strong commitment to safety while contributing to a positive team culture.
- Completing all tasks in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and proactively contributing to operational excellence.
About you
You take pride in delivering high-quality work and maintaining the highest safety standards. A proactive and collaborative team player, you approach challenges with a solutions-focused mindset and consistently demonstrate behaviours aligned with our ASPIRE Values.
You will also possess:
- Relevant and recognised Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Current WA 'A' Grade Electrical Worker's Licence.
- High Voltage (HV) Switching or High Voltage Licence.
- Exposure to instrumentation and control systems.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably within a mining or processing environment.
- Current unrestricted Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
- Ability to obtain and provide a National Police Clearance (issued within the last three months) for site access purposes.
